With school out for the teachers' strike, Parker and I have had time to squeeze in a few more outdoor activities. We've never hiked the trails at Dash Point, only gone to the beach, so we headed out into the woods one morning.
Much to our surprise, we discovered this old funnel thingy by the trail. Stenciled around the rim is DASH POINT CO-OP WATER ASSN,
but that doesn't really explain matters!
The trails are popular with mountain bikers, and are named with signs high in the trees, with muddy spots "bridged" on occasion. We had a good time trekking around.
