(I borrowed this shot from the internet, as I didn't get one of the front of the house.) We spent a couple hours yesterday at the Weyerhaeuser Mansion, eating yummies in front of the fireplaces and taking a tour.
JT and Parker in the dining room. Much of the ground floor was panelled like this, in white oak that is presumed by the grain to be from Sherwood Forest.

The mansion has its own pipe organ, though we didn't get to hear it play.

the sun room, my favorite, with herring-bone brick floor
