Parker simply could not resist this log--it had a rope anchored to so he was destined to pull it, wasn't he?
Everybody was out enjoying the day.
Parker managed to stand this pole on the beach--though he was disgusted with the engineering; it only stood when supported with rocks etc. and he thought it ought to have stood on its own.
