Memorial Day picnic

We planned a picnic by the Columbia River for the Saturday of Memorial weekend.  But the weather was cool and damp, so we relocated to Seaquest State Park, where there was shelter and a lovely fireplace.

 Janelle and baby Anna Beth joined us, along with Mom and Dad.  Anna Beth enjoyed the swings.

 Parker enjoyed the fire; he even wrote hieroglyphics on the back wall and quite impressed himself.
