After our cool summer, the leaves are turning late. But the colors are gorgeous this year.
We met Mom and Dad at Battle Ground State Park for a daycamp/picnic. The weather was chancy but turned out perfect--cloudy but warm, with no rain.
I'm usually behind the lens but wanted a record of our day, so I experimented with tripod and timer. It worked pretty well, but boy did I have to run!
A typical NW picnic shelter. Dad and Parker played Foxtail at the badminton net. We heated chili and pumpkin spice lattes on the campstove.
