Perfect October Day

We met Mom and Dad for a day at Lucia Falls.  It was a gorgeous, sunny 70 degrees on the first Saturday of October.

 Mom got a little nervous....

We picnicked near this double fall and bridge.

Then we went up to the bridge above Moulton Falls.  Gorgeous bridge!

Woody woodpecker didn't mind us at all; he just went about his business.

Next we headed to nearby Cedar Creek Grist Mill, built in 1875.  Here are Parker and Dad shooting from the windows.

and this is the view they were shooting:  a covered bridge.

and a beautiful old dog who lived nearby
(but you can ask Mom who's got the grizzled face :-)
