Kitchen Cabinets

I finally figured out what to do with my mismatched kitchen. I took the melamine cabinets in to the paint store and had them match the color and sheen. Then I painted everything that wasn't melamine, and at first glance you don't notice the different doors. Yeah!

This one is the cabinet I bought at a salvage store. The big door was missing, so I bought that (also salvage) separately.

This cabinet is from Nathan and Jill's kitchen, so I painted the doors here too. (Behind the stove you'll notice a 6-inch strip of plaster missing--we cut that out to help fit the new counter in. I have just a wee little bit of plastering to do now!)

And these were here already, but the one on the right was a wood finish. Also I installed the shelves last summer, and finally painted them.

When the kitchen is cleaned up I'll take a photo of the new look. Lots of home improvements happening lately.
