Christmas

JT, Parker, and I laid out stockings on Christmas Eve. Mom and Dad didn't bother, but it turned out Mom did have a stocking gift for Dad, so she (of course) used one of his socks. As he waited to open it JT commented that it looked like a Charlie Brown stocking!

Nathan and Jill sent a gift to Mom and Dad--a video camera for the computer. Now they can see the long-distance grandkids a little more often :-)

Dad gave Mom a new, wooden recorder. She immediately tried it out, and Tazzy LOVED the sound of it. It's hard to play when a cat is loving on the other end of your instrument.

Parker received a couple Wii games--Lego Star Wars, Mario Brothers Winter Olympics, and Shaun White snowboarding.

Uncle Nelson and Aunt Jenn knew the way to his heart--Bionicles!

Mom's been wishing for a recipe holder like mine, so I found one for her this year.

Parker loves helping Daddoo open gifts, almost as much as opening his own.

And the final gift: can it really be?.......

A guitar!!!!

We left Sunday morning so JT could go to work Monday, but Parker stayed for the week with Gaggy and Daddoo, and they will make a trip to Sunriver. After they got home from church Dad built a fire, Mom started prepping a meal for friends coming over, and Parker sat down to get to know his guitar. (This has been JT's guitar since college but he doesn't play anymore, and as everyone who knows Parker knows, Parker dreams of rockstardom. We figured a new owner might be just the thing for this guitar.)
