I haven't seen my high school friend Janelle in something like 17 years--we couldn't even figure out for sure when the last time was, so clearly it had been too long! After some FB chatting, we decided that I would drive to the Portland area where she lives, and "kidnap" her for a couple days.
It was our hottest weather of the summer, so we spent most of our time with our feet in the water.
