Mom and Dad came for Christmas, and then took Parker back with them to Salem until New Year's Day. We were supposed to have a party on New Year's Eve but it didn't happen, so JT and I headed to the coast for the day instead. We went to Ocean Shores, where it turns out you can drive for miles on the beach. That was a surreal experience!
Someone had erected an oddly appealing sculpture in the dunes.
